“The Power of Stem Cells” Animation

Gladstone has a booth at the SF Giants stadium each year. I created this animation to play on a loop on a screen above the booth. It describes the potential of stem cells to affect medical treatment to a non-scientific audience.

The Challenge
Communicate the process of stem cell creation to a lay audience in a visually compelling way.

The Solution
I designed and created this animation that takes the viewer through the stem cell reprogramming process step by step. The information is very topline and easy to read at a quick glance, and the illustrations (co-created with my creative director) quickly communicate scientific concepts.

Outcomes
Raised awareness of scientific concepts and Gladstone’s scientists and research to a lay audience.
