The redesign of Gladstone’s multitude of lab websites.

Challenge
Unify lab websites to create consistency and make them on brand, whilst streamlining the process to avoid additional workload.

Solution
I created a series of templates for scientists that aligned with the Gladstone brand, so that each lab didn’t need a custom designed and coded site.

By collaborating with a content strategist and a developer, I gained feedback from the labs about what they wanted from a new website. A key request was the ability to make customizations and add their own content/images etc. I included modules that could be updated with new images, and also added areas for social media feeds. There is also the option for a blog page.

Outcomes
A consistent look across a range of template designs that will improve user experience when implemented. The scientists are happy with the layout options, which allow them to align themselves with the Gladstone brand, and help differentiate them from competitors.
