Gladstone Institutes celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2019. I created a promotional look for the year-long program of events that included symposiums, events, and a dinner for high-profile donors.

The Challenge
Engage Gladstone’s scientific and donor audiences in a program of events intended to raise funds and bring the scientific community together.

The Solution
I created this emblem to represent the anniversary on every piece of related design. The 4 and 0 in the logo were used as a container or window for a motif called the “pathway to discovery”, representing groundbreaking scientific research. This “pathway” was applied to every piece of design, sometimes as a swatch, and sometimes fully visible, and brought visual interest and consistency across all print and digital designs.

Outcomes
A highly-attended program of events (1K+ over the year) and a more engaged donor audience. Increased awareness of Gladstone’s work in the scientific community.
